Stanbic Bank Botswana continues to strongly support sports development in Botswana. This is evidenced by the Bank’s announcement of a three-year sponsorship deal with local football giants, Township Rollers Football Club, valued at P3.6 million. The sponsorship deal positions the Bank as main sponsors for the duration of the agreement.
Township Rollers, Botswana’s most successful football club, are the current Premier Football League Champions. The local giants have won 13 league titles and a multitude of other cup competitions and also participated in continental cup competitions.

Stanbic Bank Botswana seeks to further position itself as a universal financial services provider that is vest in community development. This is evidenced by their sponsorship and active participation in the Diacore Gaborone Marathon. Further to that, The Bank also sponsors the Gem Diamond Kalahari Cycling Challenge and Morupule Cycle Challenge. This is attestation to the Bank’s unwavering efforts in developing local sports with the view to moving communities forward in a significant and sustainable manner.
